Success Stories
Andy O'Brien
Andy started playing at Pannal Ash as an U8. He played in the same youth team as Harry Kewell and Jonathan Woodgate before joining the junior ranks of Bradford City in 1994. He helped the Bantams gain promotion to the FA Premier League in 1999.
Andy has played for Newcastle United, Portsmouth, Bolton Wanderers, Leeds United and Vancouver Whitecaps. He has won 26 caps for the Republic of Ireland between 2001 and 2006 and was a member of Ireland’s 2002 World Cup squad.
Sean Mcdaid
Sean joined for Pannal Ash as an U8 and played for the club for 3 seasons before joining the Leeds United Academy. He later moved to Doncaster Rovers and then Carlisle United and represented Scotland at every level up to U20.
Luke Garbutt
Luke joined Pannal Ash as an U7 and began his professional career at Leeds United Academy. As an 18 year old he was signed by Premier League giants Everton in 2009. Luke has represented England at U16-21 level.
Robbie Gotts
Robbie was signed by Leeds United in 2018 during Marcelo Bielsa’s time as manager and is currently on loan with Salford City.
