New Signings For Ash 2011/12 Season

Thursday 26th May 2011

We would like to welcome three new players into the Pannal Ash Family & the return of the Mc -

Brandon Bligh has joined us from name rivals Pannal Sports, Brandon has enjoyed good success through out his junior up bringing but the lure of a new challenge has inspired him to team up with his father. Brandon plays comfortably anywhere on the left hand side, central midfield or behind a striker. He has great technical ability and the ability to work himself out of tight situations through his high skill levels. No pressure.

Marcus Day has joined us from County Cup Champions Wigton Moor. Marcus is a very intelligent footballer who lets his football ability do the talking. Marcus will add extra finesse to either the midfield area or in front of goal. His work rate and technical ability will make him a handful for any defender. Really pleased Marcus has joined the club as we believe he will be a great addition to the squad.

Kyle Hancock has joined us from Bradford City, early signs would suggest Kyle is going to be a real success at a team that creates far more chances than it converts. His touch with either left or right foot is high in quality, movement off the ball and his ability to link up in combination play will make him a great assest to our strike force. Dont really understand why he was released by Bradford City if early impression is anything to go by.

Kern McFarlan rejoins our squad after being at Middlesbrough Academy for 18 months where i'm sure the experience and knowledge he has gained will help us further in developing our squad. Kern has immense ability and blistering pace which will add another dimension to our attacking play. I'm sure if Kern comes in and applies himself it won't be too long before another professional club comes looking at him. We would like to extend a warm welcomed return to Kern and family and hope he enjoys the forthcoming season.

Daniel Hebditch has joined us from Wigton Moor, Daniel is prodominantly a central midfield player who has great ability and has impressed on occasions we have played against him for Wigton. He has great awareness and passing ability both short and long and works from box to box. We are looking forward to working with Daniel this season to aid his development and to add competition to a crucial area of the playing squad.
