Match Report - Yellow Eagles vrs Wetherby (21/10/2012)

The Yellow Eagles played some of their best football of the season and were unlucky to lose both games, the first by the narrowest of margins (1-0) and the second by a completely non reflective 4-1.
In both games the team tried to play possession football from the back and our ability to see a pass and to move the ball is getting better each game.

It was only our tendency to lose the ball in the centre of the pitch that prevented us from winning both games as all but one of Wetherby's goals came from such a situation.

Jamie distributed well from goal and Joseph was his usual committed self for the team,in distributing from the back as well as supporting the front players. All the players worked hard and we interchanged positions to give all the boys a chance to play in a different role in order to improve their appreciation of the positional play required.

All in all a positive move in the right direction. Credit to Daniel for scoring our goal on the day and to Joe who had a strong game in defence, never shirking a tackle, and as a result deservedly being MOM.
