LEAGUE MATCH: Wetherby 4-0 Pannal Ash Pumas   (Man Of The Match: Oskar Goddard)

FRIENDLY: Wetherby 3-3 Pannal Ash Pumas ( Goals: Jack Whiting (2), James Littlejohn)  (Man Of the match: Max Williams)

Jamie's Match Report:

Simon and Jamie released what Chelsea Manager Andre Villas Boas has been going through- we have a talented squad, but sometimes things just don t click!

First match: Lost 4-0

We came out attacking well and were unlucky to get an early goal but before we knew it Wetherby had taken their chances and were 2 nil up. The boys battled on, Jack had a couple of fine saves, and there were a few good moves up front, but lady luck was not smiling on us and they scored 2 more.

There are a few things to learn from this game which  we need to practice at training:

Passing: We need to move the ball quicker in attack and not get caught in possession. Recieve, look up and pass. Then get into space ready to receive a pass.

Defending: Defenders and midfield work out who you are marking, know and keep to your postions on the pitch. Try to tackle without over committing.

Second match: Draw 3-3

A much better performance. Proof that we have the abilities if we concentrate.

Two great goals from Jack, one great goal from James. Plenty of other great chances from Sam, Jacob, Evan and Oskar.

Ollie and Max great in defence.

Max looked particularly strong in defense, he is rapidly becoming a strong tackler and relentless pursuer of the attacker. Well done to him for Man of the Match in second game.

Oskar just pipped James and Jack the goal scorers to the other Man of the Match for great and quick passing in both games.

Well played all the boys- remember to think about that passing in next match vs Kirk Deighton at home in 2 weeks time.
