Pannal Ash Under 14's comfortably won their final game of the season on Sunday against Aberford by 2 goals to nil. Goalscorers were Tom Majors and Aaron Weinhardt with the man of the match award going to Lewis Riley.

Pannal Ash Under 14's emphatically beat Colton 5-1 on Sunday. Pannal took charge early on in the game thanks to a Liam Gotting goal. Liam then set up the second crossing the ball to Sean Doyle who put it in the back of the net. Jake Murgatroyd scored two headers with the remaining goal being scored by Petrie Wood. man of the match award went to Luke McCrum.

Pannal Ash Under 14's travelled to Wortley on Wednesday evening and ended up losing 2-1 after a closely fought encounter. Pannal started brightly and opened the scoring after just 30 seconds when Liam Gotting crossed the ball into the box and Sean Doyle tapped it in the net. Wortley responded well and got 2 goals back by half time. The second half was very even but no further goals were scored. Connor Bailey received the man of the match award.

Pannal Ash Under 14's beat County Cup winners Wigton Moor 1-0 on Wednesday evening. Pannal were the better side from start to finish and were rewarded for their efforts in the first half with a goal by Jake Murgatroyd. Pannal had many more chances and a goal ruled out for being offside. Man of the match award went to Connor Bailey.

Pannal Ash Under 14's entertained title contenders North East Leeds on Sunday, losing 4-3 after a thrilling game and a hat-trick by Petrie Wood. Pannal started well and were 2-0 up at half time. In the second half Pannal once again started the better side and scored another goal, now leading 3-0. A change in Pannal's formation followed and the balance of play swung in favour of Leeds who staged a remarkable come back scoring 4 goals before the end of the game. Man of the match awards for Pannal went to Petrie Wood and Connor Bailey.

Pannal Ash Under 14's were unliucky to lose 1-0 to a very physical Chapeltown side on Sunday. Pannal started that brighter side and dominated possesssion throughout the first half. Things were a little more even in the second half but Pannal were playing the better football and were unfortunate to concede on one of the rare breaks made by Chapeltown. Man of the match award went to Connor Bailey.

Pannal Ash Under 14's played North East Leeds on Sunday and were unlucky to be on the end of a 1-0 defeat. Both teams started brightly and played an evenly matched first half, with Leeds going in 1-0 up at half time, thanks to a flukey corner kick going in off the post. Pannal dominated the second half but could not manage to grab an equaliser.Man of the match award went to Tom Majors.

Pannal Ash Under 14's were knocked out of the league cup on Sunday following a 1-0 defeat at Wortley. Pannal were strong and organised throughout and were unlucky to concede a goal early in the second half. Wortley hung on in the last 15 minutes of the game when Pannal dominated the game but just couldn't find the equaliser. Cam West was excellent in the net and man of the match award went to Louis Green.

Pannal Ash Under 14's slumped to their first defeat of 2011 at the hands of Churwell on Sunday. Pannal started brightly, had the majority of the possession and went 1-0 ahead after a brilliant passage of play resulting in a goal from Petrie Wood. Again, in the second half, Pannal were by far the better team and had more attempts on the Churwell goal but despite this Churwell managed to snatch two soft goals. The final score was 2-1. Man of the match was Petrie Wood.

Pannal Ash Under 14's travelled to Beeston on Sunday to play the quarter final of the league cup. Pannal were dominant throughout and came away, deservedly, with a 5-0 victory. Goals were scored by Petrie Wood, with a brace, Lewis Riley, Liam Gotting and Jake Murgatroyd. Pannal were strong in defence and were rarely troubled by Beeston. Parents man of the match award went to Liam Gotting with the ref awarding man of the match to Sean Doyle.

Pannal Ash Under 14's entertained Guiseley on Sunday, winning the game 3-0 despite having a rather depleted squad. The first half was an evenly fought contest with both teams having chances to score but Pannal went in a goal up at half time thanks to a tap in by Sean Doyle. Pannal were the better team in the second half and had many more opportunities to score with further goals coming from Petrie Wood and Luke McCrumb. Man of the match award went to stand in keeper Connor Bailey.

Pannal Ash Under 14's cruised into the second round of the the cup following an emphatic 9-0 victory against Amaranth on Sunday. Pannal enjoyed almost all of the possession and were very rarely troubled at the back. Goalscorers were Petrie Wood, with a hat-trick, Aaron Weinhardt and Josh Forster with a brace each. Further goals were scored by Connor Bailey and Calum Mcglaughlan.

Pannal Ash Under 14's played Colton Under 14's away on Sunday and continued their winning streak with a 5-1 victory. The game was evenly matched in the first half after Colton took an early lead and went into the break 1-0 up. After tweaking their formation at half time Pannal came out the better team with Sean Doyle scoring 2 early goals. Further goals were scored by Aaron Weinhardt and Petrie Wood. Goalkeeper, Kuba scored the remaining goal with a fabulous penalty. Man of the match award went to Louis Green.

Pannal Ash Under 14's started the new year in style beating Guiseley Under 14's 7-1 on Sunday. The match played at Guiseley was a very muddy affair. The game started evenly but before long Pannal took charge, dominating possession and having many attempts on the Guiseley goal.Goalkeeper for the first half, Nathan Barker, played outfield in the second half and bagged himself a couple of goals. Further goals were scored by Petrie Wood, Connor Bailey, Lewis Riley, Aarin Weinhardt and Luke McCrum. Man of the match award went to Liam Gotting.

Pannal Ash Under 14's played hosts to Wigton Moor in the third round of the cup on Sunday and after a closely fought contest, lost 2-0. Pannal started the better of the two teams and were unlucky to concede an early goal. New goalkeeper Kuba and midfielder Nathan Barker slotted into the team well and helped push for the equaliser but a late goal scored by Wigton after a blatent offside was missed by the referee sealed the game. Man of the match award went to Nathan Barker.

Pannal Ash Under 14's travelled to Aberford on Sunday and put on a much improved performance winning the game 2-1 thanks to a brace from Petre Wood. Pannal had one or two lapses in concentration in the first half but had the better of the possession and more chances in the second half. Man of the match awards went to Louis Green and Sean Doyle.

Churwell were this weeks opponents at this weeks home fixture for Pannal Ash Under 14's. Once again, despite having all the possession, Pannal conceded two weak goals in the first half and went in trailing 0-2 at half tme. Pannal started the second half brightly and again dominated the game but Churwell scored another goal following some sloppy Pannal defending. Pannal responded well and Josh Forster scored an easy tap in but the score remained 1-3. The man of the match award went jointly to Louis Green and Connor Bailey.

Pannal Ash Under 14's entertained Wortley on Sunday and despite putting on a good performance lost 3-1. Wortley took and early lead but Pannal quickly levelled thanks to a free kick taken by Jake Murgatroyd. Some good passages of play followed by both teams but Wortley scored next to take a 2-1 lead. Pannal then dominated possession and were unlucky to get on even terms. Wortley won a debatable penalty decision late on to win the game 3-1. Man of the match award deservedly went to goalkeeper Cam West.

Pannal Ash Under 14's cruised into the third round of the Garforth League Cup following a comfortable 11-1 victory at Rothwell Juniors on Sunday. Stand in keeper Calum McLaughlin had little to do throughout the match as Pannal were rarely troubled at the back and had the majority of the possession. Jake Murgatroyd and Lewis Riley both scored a hat-trick. Further goals were scored by Liam Gotting, with a brace, Jordan Serrant, Petre Wood and Connor Bailey. Man of the match award went to Jake Murgatroyd

Pannal Ash Under 14's slumped to a 6-3 defeat to a strong and organised Wigton Moor side on Sunday. Pannal started strongly and and after conceding an early goal found themselves 2-1 up at half time thanks to goals from Liam Gotting and Lewis Riley with Cameron West making a fantastic save from a penalty awarded for a handball in the area. Wigton came out stronger in the second half and showed more urgency and desire in their game, scoring a further 4 goals. Lewis Riley scored Pannal's only second half goal. Man of the match award goes to Jake Murgatroyd.

Pannal Ash Under 14's entertained Tadcaster Albion Under 14's on Sunday and won the game 2-1. Pannal enjoyed much of the possession and deserved the win. Tom Greenwood cleverly lobbed the keeper early on to score Pannal's first, however Tadcaster equalised in the second half. A change of formation resulted in Lewis Riley scoring the winner late on. Man of the match was Liam Gotting.

Pannal Ash Under 14's slumped to their second succesive defeat of the season to a lively Chapeltown side, after a lacklustre performance. Pannal were out-muscled and second to the ball throughout the game, Calum Mclaughlin scoring the only goal, heading in a Jordan Serrant corner.

Pannal Ash Under 14's played their first league game today, 19/09/2010, since rising from the ashes (excuse the pun) of the disolved Harrogate Town squad and slumped to a 7-3 defeat at the hands of a quality Rothwell side. Pannal statred brightly and went 1-0 up following a goal by Tom Greenwood. This was short lived a sloppy defending led to a quick equaliser from Rothwell. Sean Doyle put Pannal back in the lead but but 3 further goals from Rothwell resulted in Pannal being 4-2 down at the break. Things were no better in the second half, despite a late goal from Liam Gotting and Pannal having the downhill advantage, the final score ended up a 7-3 defeat.
